All five men, with a teenager, allegedly raping massacre physiotherapy student was 23 years old when he joined the bus after watching a movie in New Delh16 December. The victim died two weeks in hospital in Singapore two weeks later.

Two of the accused, Vinay Sharma and Pawan Gupta, last Wednesday submit an application to become informers, against the accused, the Prosecutor in the case, Rajiv Mohan.
Sharma and Gupta, Mukesh Kumar, Ram Singh and Akshay Thakur, already claimed kill, rape, culik and other offences. Mohan told he applied the death penalty imposed because of the brutality of the crime.
All of them should not receive a lighter sentence than the death penalty, he said.
Members of the Association of lawyers in Saket, site of the case heard, pledging not to be representing the accused.
Police carried out a thorough inquiry and said they've recorded confession even though all five of the accused does not have a lawyer.
